By request here's one of my favorite tracks of the year by Maluca. Every single time I played this at my store, I had people run up and ask me about it. This hot Dominican baby was born in the Bronx and raised in Manhattan. She happened to meet Diplo at a karaoke bar one night, and the two started working together resulting in her getting signed to Mad Decent. Soon after, her debut single "El Tigeraso" was born. This track is straight FIRE. It's on some Dominican merengue electro cha-cha shit. Another hit for Mad Decent Records who releases nothing but bangin' tracks. I first heard this girl spit on Spank Rock's "Bump" track years back from his album YoYoYoYoYo, and since I been following her guest spots on mixes like Bmore Gutter Music and remixes like Britney's "Gimmie More." she finally released her debut album I love you this past year, and this track below "A Love Song" is one of my favorite's on the album. produced by Diplo, the lyrics are exactly how this boy's feeling right now. I also threw in a SICK Vaski dub step remix to her first single "Might Like You Better." Enjoy!

My girl Jennifer Lopez returns with her new single from her upcoming seventh studio album titled Love? The song, named after designer Christian Louboutin's sexy pumps was produced by hitmakers The Dream & Tricky Stewart. The track was originally supposed to be recorded by Brandy, but after being released from Epic Records, the song was handed over to J-Lo. I don't know, just can't see Brandy doing this type of song, but then again, Brandy's now rapping and goes by Bran-Nu on Timbaland's new album so go figure....

I love this track and hope it gets mad support from radio and fans. So far no video or Billboard chart action, but still to early to tell. Word has it that another single might be released before the album drops in 2010. The Jersey Shore is my new favorite guilty pleasure. I been hooked since the very first episode. The buzz surrounding this show is phenomenal, and it continues to boost the ratings. So far it's the No.1 cable show thursday nights. Last weeks episode drew million's of viewers. A big part of it's due to the controversy surrounding it. Italian-American organization say the show portrays their culture in a negative way, proving again that protest over these type of shows boost ratings rather than harm them. Two sponsors reportedly already pulled out of the program despite high ratings. I say fuck 'em!
Pauly D (pictured above) owns a tanning bed in his house and spends 25 minutes daily on his hair (Check out his blowout 101 video below). Snooki (pictured below), everyones favorite star from the show has been making personal appearances everywhere. You can now have her at your birthday party for $2,000. The clip where she gets knocked out at the bar is now legendary. She recently just got fired from her job as a receptionist, and can be seen in Jersey's hottest clubs doing cartwheels & showing off her va-jay-jay!
I love me some guidos. Some of the best times I had were at KTU's Beatstock which are held every year in New Jersey and Long Island. Nothing beats watching thousands of Guido's and guidettes on Ecstasy singing along to the sounds of Freestyle music and fist pumping to hard house. Word!

can't get enough of Jersey Shore. I'm already looking forward to next weeks episode where we see Jwow beating down some girls. Watching this show is like watching a train wreck. It's a trashy great time.

Here's my favorite cut from Chris Brown's new album Graffiti called "Pass Out." In an interview in the latest Vibe Magazine, when asked about this song Chris was quoted as saying "It's a party record that's for everywhere. EVEN FOR THE GAY CLUBS.... "Yeah why not? I don't discriminate. I don't hate on none of that. I don't have the right to judge anybody for whatever their sexual preference is".... Chris just got mad points for that, even though none of the gay clubs I go to would play this song.... By the way I'm loving his new album Graffiti. Fuck all the backlash the dude's getting, this album is FIRE! I'm still a fan, and at end of the day It's all about the music man. Check out the song below.

Major Lazer consist of two of my favorite DJ's and producers Diplo & Switch. Diplo who's best known for his sick productions including for M.I.A. (he's also her ex boyfriend) and is also the owner and founder of Mad Decent records, which has put out slammin' records by DJ Blaqstarr, Rye Rye, Bonde Do Role, and Maluca.

I love this girl. Been a big fan ever since I discovered her on some blogs a few years back. She finally just released her long-delayed debut album Ultra Violet which include bangers like "Control," "Let Me Bang," and the 2007 single "Pro Nails" featuring Kanye West. Chicago's Melissa Young aka Kid Sister has been working the electro juke hip-hop scene for years now. After having her album pushed back a number of times, I'm happy to see it get it's proper release.

His last single "Sexy Bitch" featuring Akon just went platinum with over 1 million downloads, and currently sits on the top 10 of Billboards top 100 Chart. His new album "One Love" is one of my favorite records of the year. I think every track in it is a party banger. It has even almost sold 1 million copies world wide, reaching #1 in 17 countries, with two #1 singles in Europe and two Billboard dance singles with "When Love Takes Over" and "Sexy Bitch."

Wait is over! Today was the release one of the sickest videos I seen in a long time, and boy was it worth the wait! Directed by Francis Lawrence, "Bad Romance" is the first video from her forthcoming "The Fame Monster". Featuring countless hot costume changes, skimpy lingerie, A futuristic bathhouse, Russian mafia, crazy choreography, sick Alexander McQueen shoes and razor blade sunglasses. "Bad Romance" is not only a video, but very much an event. It was a hit even before it debuted, a testament to Gaga's global popularity and the power of her unique brand of art-pop. BAD ROMANCE (CHEW FU CLUB MIX)

Today is the release date for the most disturbing movie I ever seen! this truly is a sick masterpiece . It took three showings before I can actually sit through the whole thing, and still it's unsettling and painful to watch. I been reading about this movie for a year now in my horror rags and finally got to see it a few weeks ago when my friend Lexx hooked it up with an online download (Thank's Lexx). Well Martyrs Most def lived up to every bit of it's hype and then some. I was completely blown away. This is seriously one of the most brutal and emotional movies I have ever witness, unlike anything I've ever seen.

The story begins in 1970's. Lucie (Mylene Jampanoi) was abducted and held captive for a year in an abandoned slaughterhouse. The little girl escapes and is found bleeding, tortured and half naked. Fifteen years later, she seeks revenge on those who hurt her emotionally, physically, and mentally. Anna (Morjane Alaoul) who is her best friend and confident helps her but after some events unfold, she discovers an underground chamber and that's when all hell breaks loose. Apparently there's a secret society who's been abducting and torturing women for years, all for the sake of Martyrdom. The intent is to find out what happens beyond death. Now this is where the movie get's crazy, making the last 30 minutes unbearable to watch. The ending literally made my jaw dropped.

There's been a lot of controversy surrounding Martyrs. Rumors of people running out of screenings to be sick, to stories of people fainting in theaters is what got me all hyped to see this. The french right now seem to be dominating the horror genre and Hollywood with it's cheesy remakes can't compete ( a US remake is already in the works though lol). Those of you who seen last years french classic INSIDE (A favorite) might enjoy this one....Might. This movie is NOT for everyone, but it has done something for me that a film hasn't done before. It made me hide my face in the pillows, and made me feel uncomfortable. It reminded me of watching Irreversible (Another favorite) for the first time. But These are the type of things I look for in these Movies. Love it or hate it, it will leave a mark that will last for days. You been warned.

Just put up this poster from one of my favorite Horror movies of all time, the 1978 George A. Romero classic, Dawn Of The Dead. I'll never forget the first time I saw this movie back when I was young kid. I was blown away by the gory special effects, created by the sexy Tom Savini. 

 The movie had it all, scares, humor, eerie atmosphere, extreme gore, suspense, biker gangs, people trapped in a deserted shopping mall, and those blue face spooky zombies that walked the earth (even if their make-up looked a little cheesy back then, hey it was 1978!). I must have seen this movie hundreds of times since then. A classic masterpiece that never get's old. Check this out if you haven't yet.

What's good! Welcome to my crazy world. I'm gonna keep this short and simple. This is actually the first time I do a personal blog, I worked on a popular music blog before but not one like this. This will be about me, the music and movies I love, my friends, my inspirations, and all those crazy adventures I go through here in New York City. And there's been tons!

I was Born & raised in Miami, but been living in New York for quiet some time now. Spanish Harlem a.k.a. "El Barrio" is where I call home, and I absolutely love it here. Nothing inspires me more than to see the fat puerto rican chicks out in the corner with her 5 screaming kids yelling at her lowlife boyfriend, the beauty supply stores on every corner, the tiny bodegas (my block has 5 alone), and the drug dealing hood kats outside my building. But this Neighborhood is great though and filled with culture, with Central Park just a few blocks away. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the city (Or would I?). Anyway Working on a few projects at the moment so Follow me on this new journey that I'm taking....
